Born and raised in Grey Lynn, Auckland during the early 90s, I inherited my love for storytelling from my parents. My Mother would tell me tales of growing up in South Africa and my Father, a long-time sports journalist, would bring home stories from travelling the world with the All Blacks.
With a Degree in Film Arts & actively working in the film industry for 9 years now and have experience in different capacities, giving me a vast understanding of the industry. I thrive inside of a dark edit suit where I have the freedom to put forward my ideas to craft meaningful and captivating stories. I am capable of working within fast work environments & quick turnarounds.
I’ve experience in varying roles and responsibilities, from Production assistant for international directors to Camera Department on feature films whilst specializing in Video Editing for Online content. Immersing myself in situations outside of my comfort zone, I have increasingly grown into the passionate, driven and creative Filmmaker I am today.
I always add a personal flare to projects, you can be sure that I bring a wide range of experience and technical skills, across multiple disciplines to all my jobs as well as having a greater understanding of equipment and the technical side.
I frequently operate as a one-person crew and also have the ability to scale up for a full-sized production. I am confident in shooting, lighting, sound recording, directing and creative concepts. Whether it’s Social content, customer stories, short commercials, music Videos or documentaries I’d love to be involved.
